Visual diary of a traveller wandering barefoot in the sand – carrying a camera in her hand.
I have learnt that home isn’t necessarily a city or place, it can be on the road, a person, a story full of the people you meet and the places you visit. Home is the connections you have, the memories you make, and the things that you feel.
I need to move around a bit.
To shuffle my surroundings.
To wake up in cities I don’t know my way around and have conversations in languages I cannot entirely comprehend.
There is always this tremendous longing in my heart to get lost, to be someplace else, to be far away.
My main work focus is to try to capture the raw beauty of a specific location. I hope to inspire people to stop for a moment and see something that perhaps will make them want to travel, learn about another culture or just smile for a second. Any of these things would make me feel that I’ve done something worth spending my time on.
